Hello

My name is Kimberley Penner!  I have the pleasure of holding many different roles in my life including wife, mother, grandmother, cell leader, coach, employee, co-worker, sister, friend, daughter. My greatest passion is my faith and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with those around me. I have been a women's cell leader in my local church for the past17 years.  I am dedicated to teaching and encouraging women, and desire to see women of all ages pursuing God and growing in their faith, passion and pursuit of Him.

All About Me

I grew up near a small town in the Prairie Province of Saskatchewan, Canada. My graduation photo shows off my very large back-combed hair (if you would like a hint as to the era I grew up in).  We had hairspray, but no cell phones, internet or social media.

My own faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ started very young and has never ended.  My passion for God was evident in my own personal learning, reading my Bible, prayer, teaching Sunday School, as well as  church and youth group attendance.  Right after high school I moved to another prairie province, Manitoba, where I went to Bible School and eventually got married and have lived here ever since.

My passion for sharing my faith with others led to my working with Youth For Christ Winnipeg for 7 years where I led the girls ministry, sharing the gospel, teaching and mentoring, writing and leading 2-3 'God Talks' every week.  I left there when my husband and I started our family and I became a full time mom. Parenting our four children has been the greatest joy of my life and I have loved raising amazing, talented children who love the Lord!  At this time two of them are married to wonderful spouses and we have one beautiful grand daughter!  Our other two children still live at home, attending college and finishing high school!

Through the years I have continued to be involved in ministry within the church including children's programs and leading women's cell groups or Bible Studies. My passion for teaching has lead me to write different studies

throughout the years.  My prayer is that one or more of those studies will encourage and minister to you, turning you towards a deeper faith and commitment to Jesus himself.
